Stairs to Nowhere from Macro Works in Color
Almost captures the despair of striving toward achievement only to fall short. A figure buries its face in its hands, while protruding tear-shaped elements extend from the otherwise flat surface.
Composed of approximately 40,000 1x2 plates, the work is large and imposing. Faces appear on two opposing sides, separated by empty space that tears them apart. This distance embodies the magnitude of disappointment and loss.
